Information of Affliction Founder Todd Beard dying yesterday at the age of 49 has surfaced. A source close to Beard said, “He went to sleep and never woke up.”

Beard served 30 months in a federal prison from 1993-95 after pleading guilty to three felony counts, of conspiracy, wire fraud and mail fraud. He since went on to become a multi-millionaire from Affliction clothing, where he cashed out a reported $40 million in 2011-2012, relinquishing his ownership of the popular brand.

Beard also had a history of alcohol abuse according to many reports including Randy Couture himself and had faced charges for domestic violence. Couture had filed a restraining order against Beard after their relationship at Affliction fell through in 2008.

As of now the cause of death is undetermined but we will be digging further into this developing story.

  1. It’s always a sad day when someone passes and leaves their family here on Earth, to only memories, of their loved one. God Bless Todd’s family, and give them strength, as they adjust to Todd who is gone too soon, as his brother was also. May the brothers see each other, together in Heaven once again.

  2. Todd I love you and I’ll miss you, you taught me so much about life and success ride the sky Todd .. Ride the sky.
