Donald Cerrone had asked to fight at the UFC’s upcoming trip to Denver, Colorado at UFC 150, and he got his wish. He will now meet former teammate Melvin Guillard in what is expected to be the co-main event of the evening.
UFC 150 goes down at the Pepsi Center on August 11th and is headlined by the lightweight title rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar.
The date will come just over a month from Guillard’s recent decision win over Fabricio Camoes at UFC 148. Cerrone last competed against Jeremy Stephens on May 5th at UFC on FOX 3, earning his seventh win in eight fights.
The winner of this exciting lightweight scrap will emerge once more as a contender in the UFC’s incredibly stacked lightweight division.
