According to sources close to the fighters, the UFC is hoping to feature the Flyweight Tournament rematch between Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson at the Finale of “The Ultimate Fighter 15″ taking place June 1st in Las Vegas.
The highly anticipated fight would seemingly be a perfect headliner for the card that will also feature the fight that will crown the newest Ultimate Fighter.
“Uncle Creepy” and “Mighty Mouse” gave a “Fight of the Night” performance in their recent bout in Sydney, Australia, though the fight ended robbing them and the fans of a historic sudden death round set in place for the very situation that arose- a draw.
Unfortunately, there was a mistake counting the scorecards by the commission handling the event, and now a rematch will decide who moves on to face Joseph Benavidez for the title of first ever UFC Flyweight Champion.
